About Pilgrim’s Way Bookstore & Secret Garden
Pilgrim’s Way is Carmel-by-the-Sea’s only remaining bookstore, offering new releases, classics, personal growth, and children’s titles. The adjoining Secret Garden features fountains, statues, plants, and locally-made gifts. Opened in 1969 and expanded in 2001, it is operated by husband-and-wife team Paul Fridlund and Cynthia Fernandes.
